Trombonist Jamie Marshall has worked with Natalie Cole, Kenny Rodgers, Burt Bacharach, Anthony Newley, Vic Damone, Lena Horne, George Burns, Jay Leno and Billy Crystal among others as a member of Miami’s Diplomat Hotel Orchestra.  He has recorded with Bobby Caldwell, the Miami Sound Machine, and the Orange Bowl Parade and halftime show.  Jamie spent several years on national tours with “A Chorus Line” and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”  Mr. Marshall began his southwest Florida career as a member of the Sarasota Concert Band, and has played in the pit orchestra for many shows at local area theaters.  For the past 22 years Jamie has been principal trombonist for the Venice Symphony, Sarasota Pops Orchestra, and Suncoast Brass.  He is currently head of music studies and administrative ombudsman at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School in Bradenton.
